| Sandy MacKenzie has been a licensed real estate salesperson in Nova Scotia since the spring of 2002. In addition to the professional experience he has considerable personal experience with properties in the Cape Breton area having been involved with buying and selling on a personal basis over the last 35 years.
A graduate of St. Francis Xavier University Sandy has been involved as owner/operator of several businesses throughout the 35 years he has been in the Strait area.
Throughout his earlier career Sandy taught school, was principal in Port Hawkesbury and Superintendent of Schools for Inverness County. He served as an executive member of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union for many years and was a member of the Strait of Canso Industrial Development Board.
